Complete your oak entrance with a frame cut from the same timber as the door. Our solid oak external door frame is built from laminated sections of 100% solid oak, so its grain, tone and natural character match our oak external doors for a consistent, high-quality finish.
This is a universal single-door frame that suits external doors up to 2032mm tall and 880mm wide, supplied with an Aquamac seal that cuts draughts and helps keep the weather out. Please note it doesn't include a weather strip for the bottom sill, and for a taller or wider opening — or a door pair — you'll need a larger frame.
Like our oak doors, the frame is supplied unfinished — seal every face with a hardwax oil before fitting and re-treat as needed to protect it outdoors. Most paints and stains aren't suitable and can affect the warranty.
